Key findings

  • The holotype is from Khao Kho National Park in Phetchabun. • The record supplies a detailed morphological diagnosis. • The host is unknown.
02

Why this matters globally

A standardized treatment supports identification and biodiversity monitoring of Southeast Asian Aulacidae and provides a basis for future ecological work.

03

Thai researcher contribution

A Chulalongkorn University-affiliated researcher contributes to the treatment of material from a Thai protected area.

04

Limitations to consider

The treatment is based on a single holotype, not a population survey, and lacks host, genetic and within-species variation data.
