One of the most pressing issues facing young people today is inequality in access to education, which leads to unequal life opportunities and resilience. There is an urgent need to study and strengthen educational rights to expand equitable learning spaces for diverse youth populations. This is especially relevant in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand, where people of different ethnicities, beliefs, languages, lifestyles, customs, and traditions coexist. The objective of this research is to develop a program model for empowering the educational rights of multicultural youth through psychological processes. The sample consisted of one hundred multicultural youth aged 18–25, selected through purposive sampling. Research instruments included a group training program designed to empower educational rights through psychological approaches, as well as a questionnaire measuring educational rights. Data were analyzed using one-way repeated measures Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), pairwise comparisons, and post-hoc testing of educational rights mean scores before the intervention, after the intervention, and at follow-up, using the Least Significant Difference method. The findings revealed that the training program established a structured relationship between theoretical foundations, psychological principles, and training techniques to strengthen personal empowerment in four components of educational rights: sense of mastery, sense of satisfaction, self-development, and sense of purpose in life. Evaluation results showed that both overall and domain-specific educational rights scores were significantly higher after the intervention and at follow-up compared to the pre-intervention scores. Moreover, follow-up scores were significantly higher than post-intervention scores at the 0.05 level, indicating the program’s effectiveness in sustainably enhancing educational rights among multicultural youth.
