Pristaulacus thailandensis Turrisi & Smith, 2011 Fig. 16 Material examined. Thailand: Holotype • ♀, Ubon Ratchathani, Pha Taem National Park, Huay Pok waterfall, 15°37.321'N, 105°36.982'E, 419 m, Malaise trap, 4–11.IV.2007, Bunlu Sapsiri leg., T 2165 (QSBG). Diagnosis. Medium-sized species, body length around 12.0 mm, excluding ovipositor; color mostly black, clypeus extensively, most of mandible, A 1, fore and mid legs reddish orange to dark reddish orange; hind leg blackish, hind tarsus lighter; wings hyaline; fore wing only slightly infuscate at extreme apex, with traces of irregular brown spots at base and a moderately wide subrectangular substigmal dark brown spot; metasoma entirely blackish; setae partly goldish on mandible, whitish otherwise; head, from above, 1.2 × wider than long, shiny, vertex with fine, deep and scattered punctures; gena moderately developed, moderately convergent and moderately rounded posteriorly; occipital margin with a moderately wide and deep U-shaped medial occipital groove; occipital carina moderately broad, lamelliform; mesosoma coarsely sculptured, transverse-carinate to areolate-rugose; lateroventral margin of pronotum with one anterior well developed, acute, forwarded tooth-like process; anterior margin of mesonotum, in lateral view, rounded, not overhanging pronotum; hind coxa elongate, 2.8 × longer than wide, transverse-carinulate-punctate; tarsal claw pectinate with four tooth-like processes; metasoma pyriform strongly compressed; petiole very elongate, slender, 4.4 × longer than wide; ovipositor length 1.5 × fore wing length. Distribution. Thailand (Ubon Ratchathani province) (Turrisi and Smith 2011). Host. Unknown. Remark. The species belongs to the Pristaulacus comptipennis species-group (Turrisi and Smith 2011).
