The rapid increasing of industrialization and oil leakages in the water resources are the major environmental issues in the worldwide. Also, the waste to worth product is support to the SDG-12. Therefore, this research focusing on the simple and effective method for the remedy of oil water separation by creating of hydrophobic or super oleophilic materials using recycling of water battery and waste biomass materials. The sponge like exfoliated graphene anchored carbon supported activated carbon (EX-G@C@AC) adsorbent was synthesized for separation of orgonic solvents (ethanol and acetone) and various oil like cooking sunflower oil, sesame oil, waste engine oil and crude oil from water. Here, we synthesis two different ratio of AC attached with EX-G@C catalyst. Apart from the other adsorbent, the 20% of AC supported EX-G@C shows higher absorption capacity of organic and oil separation process. Also, the EX-G@C@AC-20 shows the maximum absorption capacity of 53.01 g g -1 for crude oil and shows the maximum value in the sesame oil about 121.35 g g -1 . The successful demonstration of lab-scale prototype of crude oil/water separation indicates the large-scale production and recovery of crude oil from water surface is applicable using EX-G@C@AC-20.
