Background and Aim: The integration of Chinese traditional cultural symbols into contemporary jewelry design is an emerging area of study. This research explores the process of symbolic translation and narrative construction, aiming to investigate how traditional cultural elements can be effectively reinterpreted and incorporated into modern jewelry designs. The study examines the strategies, challenges, and innovations involved in the fusion of cultural heritage with modern design aesthetics. Materials and Methods: This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative research with case study analysis. Data was collected through interviews with jewelry designers, cultural scholars, and industry experts. Additionally, selected jewelry design case studies were analyzed, focusing on how Chinese traditional symbols are translated into contemporary jewelry.
