Enhancement of Students’ Learning Outcomes on the Experiential Design Thinking Learning Platform with Metaverse

The Experiential Design Thinking Learning Platform with Metaverse (EDTL Platform) integrates experiential learning, design thinking and metaverse technology to create learning environments that enhance vocational students' teamwork and problem-solving skills in Thailand. The main objectives are to explore the perspectives on the development of the learning platform after being put in practical use, and to see whether it can improve teamwork skills and problem-solving skills of learners. Thereby, the study employs the pre-experimental research method conducted with seven experts and 30 vocational certificate freshmen. The research instruments include: 1) the EDTL Platform with Metaverse; 2) the evaluation form on the quality of the platform; 3) the measurement form on learning achievement; 4) the evaluation form on teamwork skills; 5) the evaluation form on problem-solving skills; and 6) the satisfaction assessment form. The findings indicate that the EDTL Platform enhances learners' teamwork and problem-solving skills while promoting self-directed learning and knowledge acquisition through digital technology. However, there are still some research gaps that need further study. For example, future research should be conducted with a larger and more diverse sample group by including students from other institutions following different academic programs from various regions. This is to ensure that the research findings can be applied more broadly.
