Digital financial inclusion has been shown to strengthen supply chain resilience in manufacturing, but this evidence is drawn almost entirely from large, listed firms in a single, digitally advanced economy, leaving open whether the relationship holds where digital access itself is uneven. This study examined the levels of digital financial inclusion (DFI) and supply chain resilience (SCR) among Philippine manufacturing firms and compared both constructs between firms with high versus low digital access. A quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive-comparative survey design was employed, drawing 1,000 managerial respondents from manufacturing firms across six subsectors nationwide in the Philippines, selected through stratified random sampling by firm size. DFI and SCR were measured using a custom, expert-validated instrument, and firms were classified into digital access groups via a median split on a Mobile/Digital Banking item. Results showed moderate-to-high overall levels of both DFI (M = 3.41, SD = 1.03) and SCR (M = 3.43, SD = 1.16). Firms with high digital access reported significantly greater DFI than firms with low digital access, t(568.61) = 6.66, p < .001, d = 0.48, and significantly greater SCR, t(998) = 3.70, p < .001, d = 0.24. Both hypotheses were supported. The findings indicate that digital access divide corresponds to measurable differences not only in financial inclusion but in the operational resilience manufacturing firms report, extending a relationship previously documented mainly in Chinese manufacturing into a Southeast Asian, SME-dominated context. Given the study's cross-sectional design, findings reflect association and group difference rather than causation. The results suggest that digital-finance and manufacturing-sector policy and industry programs may need to address digital access directly, rather than assuming that expanding access to digital financial products alone will close resilience gaps between manufacturing firms.
