The Family Management Measure (FaMM) assesses family management of childhood chronic conditions, but evidence on its measurement properties in Thailand is limited. This methodological study translated, culturally adapted, and evaluated the Thai FaMM among 350 primary family caregivers. Translation followed International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research Task Force guidelines; psychometric evaluation followed the Consensus-based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments framework. Independent exploratory and confirmatory subsamples comprised 150 and 200 caregivers. Child’s Daily Life was unidimensional after post hoc residual-covariance respecification. Multidimensional first-order models of Condition Management Ability, Family Life Difficulty, View of Condition Impact, and Parental (Caregiver) Mutuality fitted better than one-factor alternatives; second-order models did not improve fit. Internal consistency varied across scales and dimensions; nine items across these five scales had corrected item–total correlations below 0.30. Reported scale-level test–retest intraclass correlations ranged from 0.92 to 1.00. Condition Management Effort had low internal consistency (Cronbach’s α = 0.28), failed original exploratory extraction, and an inadmissible confirmatory solution. These preliminary, scale-specific findings require further validation before separating dimensional scoring or clinical use.
