This study examines the impacts of emotional labor, self-resilience, and social support on the mental well-being and job burnout of vocational college instructors in Yunnan Province, China. Utilizing quantitative research design, data were gathered from 420 teachers and analyzed using descriptive statistics, e.g., frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and inferential statistics, e.g., independent samples t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings reveal that there are significant mean differences in job burnout across age groups and teaching subjects, whereas no significant mean differences are observed with respect to gender, marital status, work experience, or job position. Moreover, both dimensions of emotional labor (surface and deep acting), self resilience(recovery and exploration orientation), and social support (direct and buffering effects) significantly and positively influence job burnout, collectively serving as key predictors for faculty in this context.
