Fifty unique AMR genes and IncQ1/Col3M-associated contigs were detected, with qnrD1 on similar contigs in two isolates. All were P. mirabilis; KS155 was most divergent at 96-97% ANI relative to others.

Limitations to consider
Only 17 isolates from limited facilities were studied, without a complete sampling frame in the abstract. Gene presence does not equal expression or phenotypic resistance, and a plasmid-associated short-read contig does not confirm plasmid location, transfer, or outbreak spread. Long reads and patient-time-place data are needed.
