The Development of Para-Rubber Based Art Materials for Creating Innovative Learning in Thai Art

An R&D project created three rubber-based materials and four Thai-pattern activities, tested with 20 adolescents and three art-education experts. Satisfaction averaged 4.45/5 and expert suitability 4.57/5, with qualitative reports of pattern learning and creative skills.

  • Materials supported Kanok, Nari, Krabi and Kacha activities: thick and translucent paints, soft smooth foam and durable reclaimed sheets. Participants reported creativity, concentration and brush-pressure practice.

No control, pre/post knowledge test or follow-up was used. Twenty learners and three experts are limited, while allergen safety, ageing, re-recyclability and life-cycle impacts remain unreported.
