Data from 315 Thai and 311 Indian undergraduates were analyzed using structural equation modeling and multi-group analysis. Social entrepreneurial intention was strongly associated with both behavior and social entrepreneurial capital in both groups.
Key findings
- Intention was strongly associated with behavior in both countries
- The structural relationships were largely comparable
- Some path strengths differed between Thai and Indian samples
Why this matters globally
The findings expand evidence on social entrepreneurship in non-Western higher-education contexts.

Limitations to consider
The observational survey and structural model do not establish causal effects.
