E-Cigarette Use and Predictors of Vaping Behavior among Undergraduate Students in Thailand’s Health Region 10

A cross-sectional survey of 555 undergraduates in Thailand's Health Region 10 found self-reported e-cigarette use in 12.25%. Social, environmental and risky-health-behaviour factors were associated with higher odds of vaping, while a higher GPA was associated with lower odds. The findings identify prevention contexts but do not establish causation.

GIS-Linked Spatial Contextualization of Depression-Related Service Needs among Older Adults in Lat Yai Subdistrict, Samut Songkhram Province, Thailand

Among 380 older adults surveyed in Lat Yai, 14.21% had at least mild depressive symptoms, and stronger family relationships were negatively correlated with depression scores. The team linked survey findings to village-level service registers to support outreach planning, explicitly not to estimate village depression prevalence or risk.

Integrating Geographic Information Systems into a Self-Efficacy–Based Health Promotion Model for Foreign Retirees in Elderly Care Centers in Bangkok Metropolitan Area, Thailand

A self-efficacy-based health-promotion programme for 33 foreign retirees reported post-programme gains in knowledge, self-care and several physiological measures. It combined education, prevention, spirituality and nutrition while proposing GIS-supported service planning. A one-group pre-post design cannot isolate programme effects from time, medication or usual care.
