Hybrid intelligence effort for software effort estimation in LLM assisted development

A controlled experiment with 22 developers, 110 real-world tasks and three LLMs proposed Hybrid Intelligence Effort, combining model work with human oversight. Story Points retained partial value, but validation and corrective intervention dominated effort; HIE dimensions reportedly explained about 72-80% of observed variance. Results may vary by model, team and task.

Cytogenetics Study of Habenaria janellehayneana Choltco, B.Moloney & Yong, H. rhodocheila Hance and Nervilia khaoyaica Suddee, Watthana & S.W.Gale, Rare Species of Family Orchidaceae from Thailand

Thai researchers analysed chromosomes of Habenaria janellehayneana, H. rhodocheila and Nervilia khaoyaica. Both Habenaria had 2n=42 but different karyotypes, while Nervilia had 2n=36. Multivariate analyses separated genera and species, providing taxonomic and conservation baselines without directly measuring population size or extinction risk.

Narrowband IoT Channel Characterisation Across Multiple Environments in Thailand

Measurements at 16 central and western Thai sites across five environments produced 8,000 RSRP samples. Path-loss exponents ranged from 2.2 in rural terrain to 4.0 in forest/mountain settings, with distinct fading and shadowing. The parameters support Thai NB-IoT planning but do not represent the entire country, seasons or all operators.

Effect of Pre-Vulcanization Time on Structure and Thermal Insulation of Natural Rubber Latex/Silica Aerogel Composites

Natural-rubber-latex/silica-aerogel composites made with eight-day pre-vulcanised latex had greater crosslink density, better preserved aerogel pores and 42.41% lower thermal conductivity than the zero-day formulation. The material remained flexible and thermally stable to 387.3°C, but mechanical durability, service life and fire behaviour were not established.

Development and Characterization of Andrographolide Microparticles via Spray Drying: An Aqueous-Based Chitosan/Cellulose/Poloxamer Carrier Approach

A Naresuan University team developed spray-dried andrographolide microparticles using an aqueous chitosan-cellulose-poloxamer carrier. The selected particles were 3-5 micrometres, released 89.23% in four hours and reduced Influenza A/H1N1 titre by 3.3 log10 in laboratory testing. Safety and efficacy after inhalation in animals or people remain untested.

Synergistic Garlic Biomass-Derived Cellulose Nanocrystals and Soy Protein for Stabilised Fish Oil Encapsulation

Garlic-skin cellulose nanocrystals combined with soy protein isolate encapsulated fish oil. The 10% fish oil, 3% GCNC and 7% SPI formulation achieved 65.77% encapsulation, the best powder flow in the experiment, oxidation below the chosen threshold and greater simulated intestinal than gastric release. It valorises biomass but has not been tested in real foods or people.

Spatial Autocorrelation and High-Risk Area Identification of Food Poisoning in Thailand, 2003–2022

Analysis of 2,329,463 Report 506 cases from 2003-2022 found significant spatial clustering every year, with Moran's I of 0.317-0.522. High-high clusters persisted in the Northeast and North, while low-low clusters predominated in the South. The pattern supports surveillance prioritisation but cannot identify individual causes and may reflect reporting differences.

SENTINEL-Dengue ASEAN-11: An AI-Powered Climate–Geospatial Intelligence System for Dengue Early Warning and Surveillance Prioritization Across Southeast Asia

SENTINEL-Dengue ASEAN-11 proposes integrating case counts, climate, satellite vegetation, population, surface water and explainable models across 11 Southeast Asian countries, with spatial and temporal validation and risk-uncertainty classes. The abstract primarily describes a proposed architecture and dataset rather than reporting predictive performance, so it should be read as a framework, not a validated operational system.

Factors Associated with Human Papillomavirus Infection among Women in Health Region 10, Thailand: Evidence from HPV DNA Testing and GIS-Linked Spatial Decision Support

A cross-sectional study of 2,086 women receiving HPV DNA screening in Thai Health Region 10 found 15.1% positivity, dominated by high-risk non-16/18 types. Women under 30 had higher odds, while more pregnancies were associated with lower odds. Provincial maps may assist service planning, but the screened sample does not establish population prevalence.

Spontaneous passage of common bile duct stones: predictive factors and impact on post-ERCP complications

In a retrospective tertiary-centre cohort of 404 patients with common bile-duct stones, 113, or 28%, had no stone at EUS or ERCP and were classified as spontaneous passage. Younger age, smaller and single stones predicted passage. Post-ERCP pancreatitis occurred in 16.5% versus 7.6%, supporting pre-procedure clearance confirmation but not yet defining the best triage pathway.

Nocardia glycosmidis, Nocardia aegles and Nocardia citri spp. nov., three novel endophytic actinomycetes isolated from the roots of Rutaceae plants

A Thai-led team isolated three endophytic actinomycetes from roots of Glycosmis pentaphylla, Aegle marmelos and lime. Morphology, chemotaxonomy, 16S rRNA and genome comparisons distinguished them from close relatives, supporting the names Nocardia glycosmidis, Nocardia aegles and Nocardia citri, with type strains deposited in culture collections.

Enzyme-ultrasound-assisted valorization of tomato pomace into glutamic acid- and phenolic-rich extracts: Characterization and bioactivity assessment in RAW264.7 macrophages

A Thai team optimised bromelain-ultrasound extraction of tomato pomace. Fifteen percent bromelain with 30 minutes of ultrasound yielded 37,656.63 mg glutamic acid per 100 g, about fivefold above untreated pomace, alongside high phenolics, flavonoids and antioxidant measures. The extract showed low cytotoxicity and reduced NO and IL-6 in macrophage cells, but no human health benefit has been demonstrated.
