Integrated Techno-Economic, Environmental Screening, and Social Return on Investment Analysis of Community-Scale Sawdust–Polypropylene Co-Pyrolysis for Heavy-Metal Adsorbent Production in Rural Area, Thailand

A scenario-based assessment examined sawdust–polypropylene co-pyrolysis at 500 °C for community heavy-metal adsorbent production. Estimated capital expenditure was THB 46,000 and unit cost THB 316/kg, below referenced commercial activated carbon. The base social-return ratio was 1.39:1, while the hybrid scenario still produced a positive net balance of 3.082 kg CO2e/kg.

The Role of Community-Based Heritage Tourism in Advancing Sustainable Development Goals Among Nomadic Communities in Mongolia

PLS-SEM analysis of 250 international tourists in Mongolia found that heritage interpretation and tourism management supported cultural-identity preservation. Community participation, tourism management, and preserved identity were associated with sustainable development, with identity partially mediating the management–sustainability relationship.

Enhancing Legal Literacy and Active Citizenship Through Gamified Creative Learning in Higher Education

A quasi-experimental study of 40 undergraduates compared a four-week legal-literacy programme combining creativity-based learning and gamification with a control condition. Post-test and short-term follow-up results showed higher legal literacy and active-citizenship scores in the intervention group, alongside greater reported civic responsibility and social participation.

Automated Sentiment Intelligence for Educational Quality Assurance: A Topic–Sentiment Framework for Thai Student Feedback with Deep Model Instantiations

The Automated Sentiment Intelligence framework converted Thai student comments into four topic domains and three sentiment classes. From 4,145 records, 2,873 remained after preprocessing. XLM-R outperformed the BiLSTM implementation, reaching 0.922 topic accuracy and 0.80 sentiment accuracy, with clearer gains on neutral and negative feedback.

The Power of Influence: Understanding Athletes’ Purchase Intentions for Energy Bars Through Attitude and Motivation

A survey of 354 athletes in Thailand extended the Theory of Reasoned Action with Self-Determination Theory constructs. Structural modelling indicated direct effects of subjective norms and self-enhancement on energy-bar purchase intention, while the proposed indirect pathways through attitude and intrinsic motivation were not statistically supported.

A playbook for harmonization of standards for emergent viral pathogens

The paper proposes an inter-laboratory playbook for calibrating widely available standards against scarce reference material issued by a global authority such as WHO. The goal is to place diagnostic results on a shared scale so that laboratories can produce more reliable and interoperable evidence during emerging-virus outbreaks.

From intuition to professionalism: the construction of a dynamic evaluation model for special education literacy of teachers in general schools

Grounded-theory analysis of interviews with eight teachers and a focus group of seven stakeholders produced a three-stage continuum: intuitive experience, professional practice, and reflective professionalism. Five dynamic dimensions cut across the model. The proposed Instructional Substitution Effect describes how technical gaps can shift teachers from differentiated instruction toward defensive behaviour management.

Thaipotamon songkhwae Tan, Naiyanetr & Yeo, 2026, sp. nov.

This taxonomic treatment validates Thaipotamon songkhwae as a new freshwater-crab species from Wat Bot District, Phitsanulok. It designates type specimens and diagnoses carapace and male gonopod characters that distinguish the species. The previously circulated name Thaipotamon phitsanulok did not meet ICZN requirements and was therefore unavailable.

Thaipotamon nandidarbhai Tan, Naiyanetr & Yeo, 2026, sp. nov.

This treatment validates Thaipotamon nandidarbhai as a new freshwater-crab species from Sung Men District, Phrae. A holotype is designated and diagnostic carapace, surface, and strongly curved male gonopod characters are documented. Earlier names used in Thai reports and media lacked ICZN requirements, and the new treatment regularises the nomenclature.

Analysis of hindrances to adopting biofuel as a future fuel: A fuzzy DEMATEL approach

The study identified 27 barriers to biofuel adoption through literature review and expert consultation, grouped them into six categories, and applied fuzzy DEMATEL to rank them and map cause–effect relationships. Sensitivity analysis assessed ranking robustness, offering a structured basis for targeted policy and industry responses.

When wildcards fail: Diagnosing truncation in Web of Science Smart Search for information literacy and library practice

Diagnostic testing of Web of Science Smart Search against deterministic Advanced Search identified four wildcard failures: omission, undocumented expansion, syntactic restructuring, and compounding across multiple wildcards. The pattern suggests a dual-parser architecture in which simple keyword queries invoke a flawed parser, while Boolean operators trigger a more reliable one.

From Ritual to Game: Research on the Innovative Design of Dali Bai Jiama Cultural Board Game under the Interactive Heritage

Using questionnaires, fieldwork and expert interviews, this study explores how Dali Bai Jiama intangible heritage could be translated into embodied-interaction board games. Awareness among respondents was relatively low, while interest in cultural board games was high. The authors therefore propose three concepts that connect ritual practice, cultural identity and production processes, moving beyond the superficial reuse of visual motifs.

Building sustainable workplaces: The role of organizational climate and recognition on employee task performance in Vietnamese SMEsThis research aims to study the relationships between Organizational Climate and Task Performance through Organizational Recognition in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Da Nang, Vietnam. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to examine the direct and indirect (mediated) relationships among the independent variables, the mediator, and the dependent variable. The population of this study is individual employees in SMEs; 402 respondents were obtained through a convenience and volunteer sampling method. The empirical results demonstrated an excellent model fit. The path analysis revealed that all four dimensions of Organizational Climate had significant positive direct effects on Organizational Recognition (p < 0.001), and that Organizational Recognition was significantly associated with Task Performance. Bootstrap analysis with 5000 resamples and bias-corrected 95 % confidence intervals indicated that all four indirect effects through Organizational Recognition were statistically significant. Standard of Work was fully mediated by Organizational Recognition, whereas Organizational Structure, Responsibility, and Commitment were partially mediated, retaining significant direct associations with Task Performance. These results suggest that, in the SME context of Da Nang, Organizational Recognition is an important mechanism through which a supportive climate is associated with employee performance. The study provides insights for SME management seeking to strengthen recognition practices as part of a more humane and socially sustainable work environment.
