Biomimetic 3D-Printed Resorbable Extracellular Matrix-Guided Bone Regeneration Membrane Based on a Gelatin Methacrylate/Alginate-Hydroxyapatite Composite for Maxillofacial Surgery

A resorbable 3D-printed GelMA/alginate membrane with 0-60% hydroxyapatite was engineered with a porous bone-facing side and a dense fibroblast-blocking side. The 20% HA formulation provided the best balance of mechanics, barrier function and cell-based osteogenic indicators. Evidence remains materials- and cell-based, not animal or clinical implantation.

The Dual Impact of Mobile Social Media Breaks on Cortical Arousal and Neurophysiological Recovery: A Spectral Analysis of EEG Signals

In 20 healthy women aged 20-25, quiet rest reduced slow-wave synchrony after induced underarousal but alpha/beta power fell by minute eight. Passive social-media browsing sustained arousal and increased high-frequency beta power by minute 16.

Negotiated technological consciousness: a process model of technological literacy transfer in technology teacher communities

A sequential mixed-methods study interviewed and observed 21 technology teachers, then tested a model with 246 teachers across Thai education sectors. Professional learning networks were strongly associated with teacher identity (β=.81) and with technological-literacy transfer (β=.34), supporting a socially and critically negotiated view of technology literacy.

Risk Factors and Outcomes of Early-Onset Sepsis in Very Preterm Infants: Results from the Thai Neonatal Registry (ThaiNy)

A retrospective Thai Neonatal Network analysis of 792 very preterm or very-low-birth-weight infants across 22 units found 32 early-onset sepsis cases (4.0%). Escherichia coli and Acinetobacter baumannii predominated, with substantial non-susceptibility, especially among the small A. baumannii sample. These registry findings support surveillance and stewardship but do not prescribe an empirical regimen for an individual infant.

When Persistence Becomes Unsustainable: Entrepreneurial Addiction, Burnout, and Exit Intention

A survey of 250 Thai entrepreneurs in digital services, software and food and beverage associated the study construct entrepreneurial addiction with exit intention both directly and through burnout. Internal locus of control weakened the addiction-burnout association, but cross-sectional data cannot show that excessive engagement causes exit.

Pulmonary function and physical fitness in obese children and adolescents: a comparison of impulse oscillometry, spirometry, and 6-min walk test

A cross-sectional comparison of 120 children aged 8-15 found shorter six-minute walk distance and higher impulse-oscillometry markers of peripheral airway resistance in the obesity group, while FEV1 did not differ. The study identifies associations at one time point and cannot establish that obesity caused the differences.

Periductal Fibrosis and Cholangiocarcinoma-Related Outcomes in Liver Fluke-Endemic Regions: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

A systematic review and meta-analysis of only five studies from liver-fluke-endemic settings linked ultrasound-detected periductal fibrosis with cholangiocarcinoma-related outcomes. Three studies covering 758,686 people yielded a pooled OR of 2.77, but outcomes mixed confirmed, incident and suspected disease, so the estimate is not an individual risk prediction.

Multi-Targeted Anti-Alzheimer’s Effects of Tri-Sannibat-Phol: Biological Evaluation, Behavioral Validation, and LC-MS/MS Phytochemical Profiling

Researchers evaluated the Thai polyherbal formula Tri-Sannibat-Phol in antioxidant, acetylcholinesterase and amyloid-beta assays, followed by neuronal-cell and scopolamine mouse models. Several outcomes improved and piperine was a prominent constituent, but the evidence remains entirely preclinical.

Heat stress during the milky stage reshapes phenology, assimilate partitioning, and yield formation in rice cultivars with contrasting heat tolerance

A controlled seven-day heat treatment at 41/28°C during the milky stage showed cultivar-specific changes in phenology, dry-matter translocation, seed set and yield components. N22, Dular and SPT1 were classified as tolerant, while Thai cultivars spanned moderately tolerant to sensitive responses.

Equity-Preserving Public Health Resource Allocation Using Multi-Objective Safe Reinforcement Learning: Evidence from Thailand

H-RL-MUSYA is a multi-objective safe-reinforcement-learning framework exploring budgets across nutrition, mental health, behavioral risk and accident prevention in Thailand’s Health Region 10. It generated 127 Pareto-efficient policies; a representative modeled compromise reported 34.1% more DALYs averted, 31.3% better cost-effectiveness and a health-equity Gini reduction from .243 to .187 versus historical allocation.

Supporting evidence-informed policy: a multidimensional impact analysis of health technology assessment in Thailand

A retrospective analysis of 68 Thai economic evaluations completed in 2010–2018 found negative net monetary benefit at the national threshold for 12 of 21 approved technologies. Every such approval documented non-cost-effectiveness considerations, showing that Thai reimbursement decisions use structured multi-criteria deliberation rather than cost-effectiveness alone.

Effects of Prediabetes on Bone Metabolism and Healing in Orthognathic Surgery: A Narrative Review

A narrative review of 32 studies proposes insulin resistance, low-grade inflammation and advanced glycation end products as pathways by which prediabetes may impair bone remodeling. Direct prospective orthognathic-surgery evidence remains insufficient for specific guidelines.
