Effect of different 10-Methacryloyloxydecyl Dihydrogen Phosphate concentrations on the shear bond strength between zirconia and composite resin

A dental-materials experiment compares 10-MDP at 2-14% with commercial and non-MDP controls on zirconia. Shear bond strength peaked at 10% and declined at higher concentrations, with NMR linking performance to bidentate ionic-complex distribution.

Azolla-derived dual-carbon sodium-ion capacitors in a water-in-salt electrolyte

A Thai team uses Azolla biomass as a common precursor for porous activated-carbon cathodes and hydrochar anodes in a sodium-ion capacitor, using 15 m NaClO4 water-in-salt electrolyte to extend the operating window to 2.3 V.

Nonadditive Charge Transport in Bacterial Cellulose/Titanate Nanotube Composites under Controlled Dehydration Probed by Rapid Temperature Cycling

This study uses rapid 35-75-35-75-35°C cycling and impedance spectroscopy to generate water-rich and water-poor states in one bacterial-cellulose composite containing about 10 wt% titanate nanotubes. Conductivity was nearly additive when hydrated but fell toward cellulose values upon dehydration.

Antibiotic growth promoter exposure reshapes gut microbiome ecology and physiological responses in Thai native chickens

An experiment in 80 Thai native crossbred chickens compared a basal diet with 0.05% chlortetracycline for 12 weeks. Growth, ADG, and FCR did not improve, while LDL and AST rose, intestinal histology changed, and cecal microbiota shifted toward a pattern interpreted as dysbiosis.

Soil salinity modulates fatty acid composition and antioxidant capacity of rice bran oil

Field sampling along the Siao Yai River in northeastern Thailand compared bran oil from glutinous RD6 and non-glutinous KDML105 across salinity-affected sites. Higher salinity was associated with more unsaturated lipid profiles, carotenoids, and antioxidant activity, without a detected oil-yield difference.

Unifying the hallmarks of major depression through neuroimmune–metabolic–oxidative (NIMETOX) dysregulation: a mechanistic systems framework

This mechanistic review integrates three decades of work into a neuroimmune-metabolic-oxidative framework linking immune activation, tryptophan, iron and lipid metabolism, oxidative stress, and reduced neuroprotection in severe major depression.

Primaquine-derived 5,6-orthoquinone concentrations in urine associated with CYP2D6 genotype-predicted phenotype and blood methemoglobin levels

An analysis of 48 Indonesian malaria patients examined CYP2D6 genotype-predicted phenotype, urinary primaquine-derived 5,6-orthoquinone, and methemoglobin. Intermediate metabolizers had lower metabolite concentrations, and the metabolite correlated positively with day-two methemoglobin.

Building sustainable workplaces: The role of organizational climate and recognition on employee task performance in Vietnamese SMEsThis research aims to study the relationships between Organizational Climate and Task Performance through Organizational Recognition in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Da Nang, Vietnam. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to examine the direct and indirect (mediated) relationships among the independent variables, the mediator, and the dependent variable. The population of this study is individual employees in SMEs; 402 respondents were obtained through a convenience and volunteer sampling method. The empirical results demonstrated an excellent model fit. The path analysis revealed that all four dimensions of Organizational Climate had significant positive direct effects on Organizational Recognition (p < 0.001), and that Organizational Recognition was significantly associated with Task Performance. Bootstrap analysis with 5000 resamples and bias-corrected 95 % confidence intervals indicated that all four indirect effects through Organizational Recognition were statistically significant. Standard of Work was fully mediated by Organizational Recognition, whereas Organizational Structure, Responsibility, and Commitment were partially mediated, retaining significant direct associations with Task Performance. These results suggest that, in the SME context of Da Nang, Organizational Recognition is an important mechanism through which a supportive climate is associated with employee performance. The study provides insights for SME management seeking to strengthen recognition practices as part of a more humane and socially sustainable work environment.
