An Empirical Security Assessment of Android-Based Social Media Applications in Thailand: A Multi-Method Approach Aligned with OWASP Mobile Top 10 (2024)

A multi-tool assessment of eight Android social-media apps categorized automated findings against the OWASP Mobile Top 10 (2024). M9 insecure-data-storage signals appeared in every assessed app, but tool alerts are not equivalent to confirmed exploitable vulnerabilities.

Cannabis knowledge and health literacy among Thai vocational students: a cross-sectional study following policy liberalization

Among 555 vocational students at one northeastern Thai institution, 55.0% had low cannabis knowledge and 48.8% had low cannabis health literacy. Knowledge level was not significantly associated with health-literacy level, suggesting that factual education alone may be insufficient.

Subepithelial nevus and papilloma of the lacrimal caruncle: a case report and literature review

A 63-year-old Thai woman had a pigmented left lacrimal-caruncle lesion that histology identified as a subepithelial nevus with overlying conjunctival papilloma, while the right eye had choroidal melanoma. After no-touch caruncular excision plus cryotherapy, no recurrence was seen at 12 months.

Modeling and Real-World Validation of Home Energy Management Systems: Photovoltaic Generation, Battery Energy Storage, and Bidirectional Grid Connection

A Thai team modeled a PV-battery-grid HEMS with PV-to-battery-to-grid priority and validated it for 30 days on a 5 kW PV/10 kWh battery system. Mean MAPE was 4.2%, with 65.2% PV self-consumption and 37% peak-demand reduction in the tested scenarios.

Organizational Resilience in China’s Real Estate Industry: The Roles of ESG, Innovation Performance, and Policy Support

Panel data from 80 Chinese A-share real-estate firms over 2015–2024 (800 firm-years) linked ESG positively with accounting recovery measured by ROE but negatively with market recovery measured by Tobin’s Q in baseline models. Additional analysis suggested a U-shape, while tax rebates had no significant direct baseline effect.

Design and Preliminary Phantom Study of a 3D-Printed Wrist Immobilization Device for Lateral Radiography

A wrist-phantom pilot compared a PLA 3D-printed immobilizer with tape and sandbag stabilization for lateral radiography. Image quality did not differ significantly (p=.263), blinded inter-rater ICC was .877, and positioning time differed (p=.036) with sandbags fastest. The device is feasible, not yet proven clinically or for staff-dose reduction.

Effect of preoperative isometric hand exercise on vascular caliber in patients with advanced chronic kidney disease - a randomised controlled trial

A single-center RCT randomized 54 stage 4–5 CKD patients to eight weeks of isometric hand exercise (n=27) or control (n=27). Cephalic-vein diameter improved at week 8 (p=.045) and radiocephalic AVF creation was 93.8% versus 58.3% (p=.026), but 12-week AVF maturation did not differ, so usable-access benefit remains unproven.

INTEGRATING LOCAL WISDOM AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ COMPETENCIES: AN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM BETWEEN INDONESIA AND THAILAND

This Indonesia–Thailand community-engagement programme used Participatory Action-Based Capacity Building to help primary teachers combine digital tools with local culture. The needs assessment reported that 95% wanted training and only 22.5% had previously implemented such integration, while post-programme competencies were reported to improve. Because the abstract provides neither participant numbers nor pre–post scores or effect sizes, it should be read as a capacity-building report rather than controlled evidence of effectiveness.

An Optimized Corn-Based Artificial Diet Reshapes the Larval Metabolome, Leading to Mixed Improvements in Longevity and Reproductive Traits in Spodoptera litura

Researchers compared an optimized corn-based F15 diet with a control diet for Spodoptera litura and used untargeted LC–MS/MS metabolomics. F15-fed larvae gained more mass and showed greater linoleic-acid enrichment, but took longer to develop, so the formulation did not improve every trait. The link between fatty-acid profiles and biological performance remains correlational rather than a demonstrated causal mechanism.

Building sustainable workplaces: The role of organizational climate and recognition on employee task performance in Vietnamese SMEsThis research aims to study the relationships between Organizational Climate and Task Performance through Organizational Recognition in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Da Nang, Vietnam. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to examine the direct and indirect (mediated) relationships among the independent variables, the mediator, and the dependent variable. The population of this study is individual employees in SMEs; 402 respondents were obtained through a convenience and volunteer sampling method. The empirical results demonstrated an excellent model fit. The path analysis revealed that all four dimensions of Organizational Climate had significant positive direct effects on Organizational Recognition (p < 0.001), and that Organizational Recognition was significantly associated with Task Performance. Bootstrap analysis with 5000 resamples and bias-corrected 95 % confidence intervals indicated that all four indirect effects through Organizational Recognition were statistically significant. Standard of Work was fully mediated by Organizational Recognition, whereas Organizational Structure, Responsibility, and Commitment were partially mediated, retaining significant direct associations with Task Performance. These results suggest that, in the SME context of Da Nang, Organizational Recognition is an important mechanism through which a supportive climate is associated with employee performance. The study provides insights for SME management seeking to strengthen recognition practices as part of a more humane and socially sustainable work environment.
