Exhibiting failure toward building a growth mindset: a qualitative study of psychiatric trainees’ experiences of a monthly reflective session

A monthly Exhibition of Failure gave psychiatry residents a structured space to discuss setbacks. Two focus-group cycles identified safety, support, self-acceptance and preparation for future failure, but these are perceived experiences rather than measured mental-health or competency outcomes.

Occurrence of multidrug-resistant bacteria and clinically important β-lactamase resistance genes in giant freshwater prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) aquaculture ponds in Thailand

Quarterly sampling of nine prawn ponds in Kalasin recovered 20 resistant isolates from eight species. Fourteen isolates (70%) were multidrug-resistant, with blaSHV and blaKPC-2 detected, including one A. veronii isolate carrying both.

Beyond mental health awareness: Evaluating a blended mental health literacy program to improve adolescents’ coping with school bullying

A 10-week quasi-experimental study assigned 40 Bangkok secondary students to blended mental-health-literacy learning (n=20) or regular instruction (n=20). Coping scores were higher in the intervention group with moderate normalized gains across dimensions, but the small questionnaire-based study did not establish reduced bullying events or mental-health harm.

Tree species diversity and aboveground carbon stocks in Ban Nong Nae community forest: implications for ecosystem rehabilitation

A 0.4-hectare permanent plot in Ban Nong Nae Community Forest, Chachoengsao, recorded 258 trees, 27 species and 19 families, with Shannon H′=2.59 and evenness=.795. Estimated aboveground carbon was 23,353.87 kg in the plot, or 58.38 Mg C/ha, with 77.8% concentrated in six dominant species.

An ethnographic case study in rural Nong Khai examined how Naga beliefs transmit knowledge, values and relationships with water. Interviews with 48 stakeholders in Nigerian public higher-education facilities identified fire-readiness barriers involving policymakers and design-approval agencies, contractors and consultants, fire operators, institutional management and students.
