Dental Crown Fit and Micro-CT75IMPACT SIGNAL
Evidence of global relevance

Effect of Luting Cement on Marginal and Internal Adaptation of Novel Ceramic-Reinforced Polymer Crowns: A Micro-CT Study

Micro-CT assessment of 99 crowns showed that good pre-cementation fit did not guarantee good post-cementation fit. The Hassawat-01 prototype had favourable internal adaptation before luting but larger gap increases afterward, while VarseoSmile with RelyX Unicem performed best among evaluable combinations. This indicates an interaction between intaglio geometry and cement properties, not clinical superiority.

Intracardiac Intermediate Diastolic Velocity in Response to Fetal Anemia: Using Hemoglobin Bart's Disease as a Study Model

Among 418 fetuses at risk of haemoglobin Bart's disease, intermediate diastolic velocity patterns differed between 84 affected and 334 unaffected fetuses. The findings are consistent with cardiac adaptation to fetal anaemia but do not establish a replacement diagnostic or screening test.

Full diallel cross analysis identifies superior F1 hybrids for enhanced larval growth in black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens)

A full diallel cross among four Thai black soldier fly populations found strong general combining ability in the Buriram and Kanchanaburi lines. The B×K hybrid reached 264.38 mg per larva at day 10 and developed in 12.14 days, supporting systematic within-line selection and crossing, pending production-scale validation.

Synthetic Pathway of Nonpsychoactive Cannabidiol from Psychoactive Tetrahydrocannabinol: A DFT Guide

A DFT study proposed a two-step conversion of Δ9-THC to CBD using BCl3 and a selective base, also examining Δ8-THC and CBN. Although overall reaction free energies were negative, the predicted rate-determining barriers were 49.4-54.1 kcal/mol—very high values—so experimental feasibility under mild conditions and scalability remain unproven.

Effects of Monochromatic Light on Mass and Phytocompound Production of Bacopa monnieri (L.) Wettst. in the Temporary Immersion System

In temporary-immersion culture of Bacopa monnieri, green light produced the most new shoots (24.2 per clump) and the highest bacoside A3 (0.39% dry weight), while blue light promoted longer shoots and 2.6-cm internodes. Warm-white and red light enhanced bacopasaponin C. The results can guide in-vitro optimisation but do not establish industrial performance or medicinal efficacy.

3D-Printed PLA Filaments Reinforced with Durian (Durio zibethinus) Husk-Derived Carboxymethyl Cellulose for Methylene Blue Removal

Kasetsart University researchers converted durian-husk cellulose into carboxymethyl cellulose and incorporated it into PLA printing filament. A 0.1 wt% loading performed best for methylene-blue adsorption in the tested set, following a pseudo-first-order model with k1=0.020 min−1. This is a circular-material proof of concept, not a deployment-ready water-treatment system.

Impact of Bacillus coagulans Fortification on Storage-Induced Metabolomic Changes in Extruded Mung Bean Snacks

Extruded mung-bean snacks fortified with 0.5% Bacillus coagulans retained 7.10 log CFU/g culturable cells after three months at room temperature and showed metabolite patterns differing from the control, particularly in amino-acid, lipid, and flavour-related pathways. The findings support product-development feasibility but do not demonstrate consumer health benefits.

Heavy metal fractions and ecological risk assessments in sediments and seagrasses along the tropical coasts in Phang-Nga Bay, Andaman Sea

Along Phang-Nga Bay, most sediment metals were bound to crystalline phases and therefore appeared to have low bioavailability, but the potentially mobile fractions of Zn, Ni, and Cd averaged above 10%, indicating medium risk. Enhalus acoroides accumulated Cd, Zn, and Cu efficiently and preferentially translocated metals to leaves rather than rhizome-root tissues.

Alcalase-derived egg white hydrolysates exhibit ACE inhibition In silico and gut microbiota modulation In vivo

Thai researchers identified egg-white-derived peptides with simulated ACE binding and found that 14-day administration of the hydrolysate to male rats altered gut microbial diversity and composition. This is preclinical evidence and does not establish blood-pressure or metabolic benefits in humans.

Influence of Provisional Cement Type and Film Thickness on Color Difference and Translucency of DLP-Printed Provisional Restorations

This laboratory study found that provisional cement type was the main determinant of color and translucency changes in DLP-printed provisional restorations. Translucent resin-based cement produced the smallest changes, whereas zinc oxide non-eugenol cement produced the largest color deviation, especially at greater film thickness.

Assessing respiratory muscle effort during noninvasive respiratory support in acute hypoxemic respiratory failure: A State-of-the Art Review from physiology to bedside

This state-of-the-art review recommends repeated respiratory-effort assessment during high-flow nasal oxygen, CPAP, or bilevel ventilation because acceptable oxygenation may mask excessive effort. It proposes a resource-tiered path from clinical signs to esophageal pressure, ultrasound, and electrical impedance tomography, but no trial shows the framework reduces delayed intubation or mortality.

MLKL confers ferroptosis resistance in colorectal cancer cells via impaired ESCRT-III-mediated membrane repair

Cancer-data analysis and cell experiments found that MLKL depletion increased sensitivity to GPX4-inhibitor ferroptosis across cancer cells, with lower glutathione, altered NRF2/KEAP1/SLC7A11 signaling, and impaired CHMP5-mediated membrane repair. CHMP5 overexpression partly rescued cells, but evidence remains bioinformatic and cellular, not therapeutic in animals or humans.
