Using Eye-Tracking to Decode Spelling Challenges for Iranian EFL Learners in Malaysia

Eye tracking measured fixations, saccades and visual hot zones while 14 Iranian learners in Malaysia memorized English words. Higher-proficiency spellers showed more regressions and longer fixation behavior, interpreted as deeper processing and self-monitoring.

The association between animal-keeping practice and human malaria infection: a cross-sectional study in southern Tanzania

Among 11,406 people in rural southern Tanzania, poultry keeping near households was consistently associated with higher odds of malaria rapid-test positivity across several models. The finding supports testing animal-housing interventions alongside vector control, but it does not prove that poultry keeping directly causes infection.

Early childhood caries at its start: oral health disparities in Thai toddlers

Among 263 children aged 6–36 months attending one Bangkok university hospital and two provincial hospitals, overall caries prevalence was 39.5%. Provincial children had a median debris index of 1.50 versus .67 and more severely affected tooth surfaces, 30.6% versus 9.7%. Residence, erupted teeth, cariogenic snacks and sugar-sweetened drinks were associated with poor hygiene and caries.

Dx-Onto: A Core Ontology for a Semantic-Based Framework for Managing Digital Transformation Projects

Dx-Onto is an OWL core ontology representing digital-transformation project entities, relations and attributes in a knowledge graph. Tests on 10–1,000 synthetic projects and a heterogeneous Thai document corpus reported 85.2% domain fit versus 77.3% for COOT and enabled phase and strategic-dimension analyses absent from the baseline.
