Evidence of global relevance

Creative problem-solving and substance abuse prevention following an AI-enhanced life skills intervention in At-risk adolescents: A quasi-experimental study

Dementia nursing, resilience and empathy86IMPACT SIGNAL
Evidence of global relevance

The mediating effect of resilience on the relationship between competence in dementia care and empathetic practices among nurses: a cross-sectional study

A survey of 200 nurses across ten Egyptian hospitals associated dementia-care competence with resilience (r=.350) and empathetic practice (r=.249), while resilience correlated with empathy (r=.378). The modeled indirect effect was β=.116 (95% CI .053–.193), but cross-sectional mediation cannot establish a causal mechanism or intervention effect.

Design-Based Learning and Students’ Study Engagement and Design Thinking Competence: A Study Based on the Job Demands–Resources Theory

A three-wave survey of 166 students in a Chinese UI-design course found that project demands, teacher role, assessment and social context predicted engagement, which in turn predicted design-thinking competence (β=0.535).

Digital health and chronic kidney disease85IMPACT SIGNAL
Evidence of global relevance

Efficacy and implementation of digital health interventions in chronic kidney disease: an umbrella review of systematic evidence

An umbrella review of 16 systematic reviews and meta-analyses across predialysis, dialysis and transplant populations found more consistent benefits for adherence, diet and fluid management, self-efficacy, psychological well-being and quality of life. Effects on eGFR, biochemistry, hospitalization and long-term morbidity remained heterogeneous or inconclusive.

Healthy food business sustainability85IMPACT SIGNAL
Evidence of global relevance

The Influence of Innovation on Sustainability of Healthy Food Business in Thailand

A PLS-SEM survey of 260 Thai healthy-food operators associated innovation, service quality and competitive advantage directly with sustainability scores. Innovation also showed indirect paths through the two mediators, and the model explained 60.7% of variance, but one-time survey data cannot establish causal order.

Psychology of methadone treatment85IMPACT SIGNAL
Evidence of global relevance

The correlation between drug abuse belief, refusal of self-efficacy and drug craving of patients in the treatment of methadone replacement treatment

Questionnaires from methadone patients at three Wenzhou clinics found distorted drug-use beliefs associated with stronger craving, while both independently related to lower refusal self-efficacy. These are psychosocial targets, not proof of reduced relapse.

Constitutional justice85IMPACT SIGNAL
Evidence of global relevance

Who speaks, who belongs, and what justice requires: constitutional struggles in Thailand and beyond

Thirty-two focus groups across Thailand's six regions explored how participants interpret constitutional design through exclusion, procedural unfairness and recognition of dissent. Younger and ethnic-minority participants framed participation and recognition as justice claims.

Effects of Breaking Up Prolonged Sitting with an Office-Based Exercise Program on Sitting Time, Physical Activity, Musculoskeletal Discomfort, and Stress in Office Workers: A Randomized Controlled Trial

An eight-week RCT randomized 58 office workers to hourly five-minute exercise prompts or ergonomics brochures. Per-protocol accelerometer data from 38 completers showed 12.8 fewer sitting minutes and 12.6 more standing minutes per eight-hour workday, with lower neck discomfort and stress.

Has climate change optimism improved or declined over time? The role of board independence

Text analysis of earnings calls found increasingly positive and less negative climate sentiment over time. Optimism about regulatory risk rose while physical-risk sentiment stayed stable; independent directors initially dampened optimism, but the association weakened.

Influence of Sensory, Affective, and Cognitive Experiences on Revisit Intention: Evidence from Sanxia Old Street, Taiwan

An online survey of 386 domestic visitors to Taiwan's Sanxia Old Street found cognitive, sensory and affective experience associated with revisit intention. Cognitive experience was strongest (β=.344), and the model explained 55% of variance, but intention is not observed return behavior.
