Enhancing IELTS Speaking Preparation: The Development of a Self-Paced Learning Model Integrating Edpuzzle and Authentic Materials

A 4D development study piloted an Edpuzzle-plus-authentic-materials model with 10 English Education majors from three Indonesian universities. Learners rated pronunciation tasks at 4.8 and contextual relevance at 4.7, while grammar challenge averaged 3.0. The findings support prototype usability, not proven improvement in IELTS scores.

Unlocking the black box of digital-nomad management: How DRISA is linked to engagement and perceived performance

A mixed-method study developed the DRISA framework from 42 interviews and surveyed 372 knowledge workers in China, the United States and Europe. DRISA covers Digital Integration, Remote Collaboration, Individual Autonomy, Spatial Freedom and Agile Management. It was associated with empowerment, work–life balance, engagement and perceived performance, but cross-sectional self-report data do not establish objective productivity or causality.

AI-VR Synergistic Technology in Virtual Simulation Training for Job-seeking Skills: Personalized Learning, Multimodal Interaction, and Adaptive Assessment

A systematic review of 31 sources from Google Scholar, Scopus, ACM, IEEE Xplore and Web of Science examined AI and VR for job-seeking skills. It identified promise in personalised learning, multimodal interview practice and adaptive assessment, but most evidence was theoretical or component-specific, with few direct empirical tests of integrated AI–VR systems.

Landslide susceptibility prediction on mount Marapi using Interferometric Synthetic aperture radar (INSAR) integrated with multi-model machine learning approaches

The Mount Marapi study integrated InSAR-derived deformation with geospatial variables and compared KNN, Random Forest, SVM and Gradient Boosting for landslide-susceptibility mapping. Subsidence and persistent slope fluctuations were observed, while slope, elevation and rainfall were the most influential variables.
